HVMS Certification Program OverviewThe HVMS Certification Program has been developed to provide a structured training curriculum to assist people in learning HVMS, and being able to properly use it to insure the software's potential is being maximized. HVMS Certification is for users, practice management consultants and resellers. The HVMS Certification Program is completely online, available via any web browser 24/7. This allows students and users to complete their training and certification around their own busy schedules. The online program consists of video tutorials, links to online learning resource documents, and tests that are required to be completed in order to obtain certification status. Our base level HVMS Certification program which provides a good overview of the key sections of HVMS that most users will utilize, including an Introduction to HVMS, Invoicing and Operations. Office Procedures is recommended training for front end staff that book appointments, take payments from customers and interact with practice clients. There are 3 courses and a final exam required for HVMS Office Procedures Certification completion.
The HVMS Certification level is intended for practice personnel involved in billing and invoicing. This Certification level is also the minimum recommendation for all HVMS users Training includes HVMS invoicing fundamentals and advanced features, as well as how invoices interface with Worklisting to utilize the rapid billing features. There are 2 courses and a final exam required for completion of HVMS Invoicing Certification.
This is recommended training for veterinarians who regularly deal with hospitalized cases, as well as practice technicians, interns and support staff. Courses in this Certification include the powerful HVMS Facility Whiteboard, as well as Invoicing, and an Introduction to HVMS. There are 3 courses and a final exam for completion of HVMS Facility Whiteboard Certification.
This HVMS Certification level is intended for practice personnel in the Accounts Receivable department. Training includes an Introduction to HVMS, as well as Invoicing, Operations and basic Accounting training. Specific areas covered include ledgers, statement runs, month-end run procedures and Accounts Receivable reporting. There are 4 courses and a final exam required for completion of HVMS Accounts Receivable Certification.
HVMS is available in a special Tablet version, allowing the software to be used while mobile and out in the field. This Certification level provides special training for HVMS users utilizing the Tablet version, including an overview of the system, how to replicate, and the differences between the regular HVMS version. There are 4 courses and a final exam required for completion of HVMS Tablet Certification.
Each practice utilizing HVMS should have a System Administrator who is responsible for managing important system settings and employee user permissions. This key person controls what data each HVMS user can view and functions they can perform, as well as affect settings during initial software setup. Operations, Invoicing, Inventory, Worksheets and Accounting are also covered in this training. There are 7 courses and a final exam required for completion of HVMS System Administrator Certification.
Worksheet Design is covered here, including learning how to build custom Worksheets for a practice. Specific training includes an overview of Worksheets, Worksheet properties and records, as well as Invoicing training to learn how Worksheets interact with billing and other features of HVMS. There are 4 courses and a final exam required for HVMS Worksheet Certification.

Substantial training is provided here in the key areas of HVMS, including Invoicing, Accounting, Operations, Inventory and HVMS Management - providing a solid understanding of how HVMS is utilized when generating report results. There are 6 courses and a final exam required for completion of HVMS Practice Management Certification.
